Overview
BP Studio builds communities and commerce for niche tastes. Its one-page site places live projects as pins on a contour map you drag to explore, each linking to its status and destination.
Challenge
Portfolio grids are everywhere. The studio’s character — coordinates of different tastes — had to be felt on the first screen while keeping information easy to reach.
Solution
Map vocabulary — coordinates, frame numbers — is woven into the typography, and hovering a pin reveals category and status. On mobile the map folds into a list for accessibility. Pages are statically rendered ahead of time.
Strategy
Concept into UI
The ‘coordinate’ brand language becomes map, contour and frame notation on screen.
Exploration
Drag to explore and hover pins to discover, with a list route kept as fallback.
Mobile
The map folds into a card list on small screens.
Performance
Static rendering and minimal script keep the first screen light.
