Meta One expands from consumers to businesses
Meta has launched Meta One for Business, a set of paid subscription packages for brands. The earlier Meta One launch across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI centered on individual users. The business version bundles AI tools with competitor analysis, audience data and posting recommendations. Pricing runs from $14.99 a month for the entry tier to $499 a month at the top.
What the tiers include
Analytics and insights
- Instagram competitive insights: benchmark performance against up to 10 competitor brands.
- Extended insights history: download audience history beyond Instagram’s current 90-day limit.
- Facebook custom audience insights: see data on people who view and interact with your content but don’t follow you.
Publishing and visibility
- Content scheduling: posting-time recommendations across Facebook and Instagram, plus bulk uploading for Instagram.
- Links in Instagram posts and Reels: Advanced ($49.99/month) allows links in four posts and four Reels a month, Expert ($149) raises it to eight, and Max ($499) to 12.
- A bold Follow button on Facebook and Verified Channels on WhatsApp.
A WhatsApp business agent
Subscribers can use an AI-powered Meta business agent that answers customer messages on WhatsApp Business around the clock. Businesses can take over conversations at any time and train the agent on details that matter. The agent also offers guidance on customer engagement and lead generation.
Why subscriptions matter to Meta
Meta hasn’t released official figures for its subscription take-up. Based on quarterly disclosures, Social Media Today estimates about 35 million Facebook and Instagram users may have signed up for subscription packages, potentially worth around $2 billion a year. That is an estimate, not a reported number. Either way, subscriptions are becoming a second revenue stream alongside ads — useful for a company spending heavily on AI.
How brands should evaluate it
Links in Instagram posts have been one of the platform’s most requested features, and they now arrive as a capped, paid benefit. Organic referral traffic from Instagram has effectively become something you can buy. Before subscribing, compare:
- Whether four to 12 linked posts a month outperform the same budget spent on ads.
- Whether 10-competitor benchmarking and longer insights history replace tools you already pay for.
- Whether your message volume on WhatsApp justifies an AI agent — and whether WhatsApp is actually a primary support channel in your markets.
Regional availability and local pricing may differ, so confirm before planning. If a trial is available, measure hours saved and changes in traffic and conversions rather than feature counts.
